re the apature...
I found that the focusing when set at F1.7 to be very small area, making it difficult to get the subject matter in clear focus - so i opened up the apature to around f2.8, this makes the plane of what is in focus a little much larger. Yet still gives lots of lovely background blurr.
re the focusing...
On the nx11 in the main menu, select mf assist - set this to 'Enlarge' (thus when you press the ok button - middle of joy pad) it enlarges the focus area so you can se what is in focus.... use the manual lens focus outer ring till you see it sharpest on the screen - then take pic.
With manual lenses attached you can only use the camera in M or A mode... in A mode all you need to adjust is the manual focus. in M mode you must change iso, shutter speed and the focusing (alot more to do).

Vďaka za radu, ...žiaľ Samsung tu funkciu nemá... :o/
